Officer David Uribe was fatally wounded in the head and neck after pulling over a reported stolen car in northwest Phoenix. Officer died Tuesday afternoon at John C. Lincoln Hospital-North Mountain, several hours after he was shot. Uribe, 48, was a 22-year veteran of the department and spent his entire time as a patrolman. Police are searching for two men Wednesday in connection with the shooting The men, identified as Donny Delahanty, 18, and Chris Wilson, 27, are not suspects but are considered investigative leads.
