Chief Worley was helping other officers track
a suspect just after 1 p.m. Tuesday on New
London Road, when a Hamilton Police lieutenant discovered him in his
cruiser. Worley was unresponsive, and officers suspect he suffered a
heart attack.
He was rushed to Fort Hamilton Hughes Hospital and pronounced dead.
Worley has been with the Ross Township police department for 13 years,
serving as chief for the past six.
Chief Worley is survived by his wife, Kathy. |
